PRIVACY POLICY

The letters you send through Noticely may contain sensitive information — financial details, account numbers, health-related information, information about disputes, and information about other people, including the person you are writing to. Please include only what you need to include. This Policy explains how we handle it.

Information you give us:

• Account information — your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form; we never see it), and the mailing address on your account.
• Letter content — everything in the letters you write, the answers you give to drafting questions, and any letter or document you upload.
• Recipient information — the name and mailing address of the person or organization you are writing to, and any return address you choose to use.
• Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details directly. We receive and store only a payment reference, the amount, the status, and the last four digits and card brand as shown to us by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Support and feedback — anything you send us by email or through the in-product feedback form.

Information we generate or collect automatically:

• Order and mailing records — the finalized PDF of each letter, timestamps for each step, the mail class you chose, tracking numbers, USPS scan events.
• Consent and approval records — the date, time, and IP address recorded when you accept our Terms and Privacy Policy and when you approve a letter for mailing, together with the version of the documents you accepted.
• Screening records — the outcome of the automated content screening described in our Terms.
• Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and dates and times of access, collected by our hosting and infrastructure providers in the ordinary course of operating a website.

We use this information to:

• provide the Service — draft, format, generate, print, and mail your letters, and show you their status;
• process payments and provide receipts;
• create and maintain your account and authenticate you;
• send transactional messages about your orders;
• keep records of what we mailed on your behalf;
• screen letters for the prohibited uses described in our Terms;
• respond to your support requests;
• detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Service; and
• comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, only as needed to run the Service:

We may also disclose information if required by law, in response to valid legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will tell you.

Text you submit to the AI drafting, refinement, and screening features is sent to Lovable's AI gateway, which routes requests to third-party model providers, for processing and returned to you. We do not permit our providers to use your content to train their models, to the extent their terms allow us to make that election.

AI output can be inaccurate. See Section 5 of our Terms of Use.

We keep your account information and your letters, orders, and mailing records for as long as your account is open, because your letter history is a core part of what you are paying for — a dated record of what you sent and when.

If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your account information and letter content, except where we need to keep something longer to comply with law, resolve a dispute, or maintain financial and mailing records. Payment records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Technical log information is retained according to our hosting provider's standard practices.

Access to your data is restricted so that your account can only reach its own letters, orders, and records. Letter PDFs are stored in private storage and are served only through short-lived links generated after we verify that you own the order. Our internal records — consent logs, payment references, screening logs — are not reachable from the browser at all. Access to production systems is limited to those who need it.

These controls have been audited against the live database rather than assumed.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not hold any security certification, and this Policy does not claim compliance with any certification standard.

You can view and update your account information in the Service, and see your full letter and order history there.

You may ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing hello@getnoticely.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information cannot be deleted while we need it to comply with law or maintain records of mail we sent on your behalf.

We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

California residents: we extend the rights described above — access, correction, deletion, and the right to know what we collect and who we share it with — to California residents as a matter of practice. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. To make a request, email hello@getnoticely.com.

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Service to work, including keeping you signed in. Our hosting provider, Lovable, collects basic analytics about visits to our website, such as pages viewed, the referring site, browser and device details, and page performance, which we use to understand how the site is used and to keep it working well. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking for advertising purposes.

The Service is intended for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

When you send a letter, you give us the recipient's name and address, and your letter may describe other people. You are responsible for having the right to provide that information and for what your letter says about anyone. We use it only to print, mail, and keep a record of your letter.

The Service is offered in the United States and information is processed in the United States.

We may update this Policy as the Service changes. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will notify you and, where appropriate, ask you to accept the updated Policy.
