Choose how your letter is delivered. Pay only when you're ready to send — drafting and previewing your letter is always free.
Standard Mail
per letter
For letters you need delivered, without a trip to the post office.
- Professionally printed, formatted, and mailed for you
- Sent by USPS First-Class Mail — the standard class for letters
- We show you the date USPS accepted your letter — a real USPS scan, not an estimate
- We'll show you when USPS accepts your letter, and when it's out for delivery
- A dated record of your letter and when it was sent, saved to your account
- Not tracked to the door. USPS doesn't scan first-class mail at delivery, so we can't confirm it arrived.
When you need proof it was mailed
Certified Mail
per letter
For notices where a contract, lease, or law asks for certified mail.
- Everything in Standard Mail
- Sent by USPS Certified Mail — USPS records the delivery
- We show you the date USPS accepted your letter
- A USPS tracking number, so you can follow the letter at USPS.com
- Electronic Return Receipt — USPS collects a signature at delivery, and your tracking number lets you request the signed copy from USPS
- Typically arrives 3-7 business days after USPS takes possession — certified isn't faster, it's documented
Not sure which one you need?
Standard Mail is regular mail — the same way a bill or a letter from a friend arrives. It's reliable, and it's what most letters need. USPS scans letters into its network, so we can show the date they accepted it — but first-class mail isn't scanned at delivery, so arrival can't be confirmed.
Certified Mail is a USPS service that creates an official record of delivery. Many contracts, leases, and state laws specifically require notices to be sent by certified mail. If the document you're responding to uses those words, that's the one to choose.
USPS asks for a signature when it delivers certified mail. Certified Mail on Noticely includes the Electronic Return Receipt, which means USPS collects that signature and makes the signed receipt available to you. Use your tracking number at USPS.com to request it, and USPS emails it to you directly.
Both options are printed and mailed the same way, and both take about the same time to arrive.
Prices are per letter and include printing, postage, and mailing.
